John and his wife, Wendy, co-founded Wild Tomorrow, a conservation non-profit in 2025. Prior to this he spent over twenty years as a designer and creative director in New York’s advertising industry.
The genesis of Wild Tomorrow came In 2012 when John joined a South African conservation NGO’s volunteer program. This one month would change his life. He was enamored with the region’s natural beauty, saddened by the threats facing its wildlife and wild places, and shocked by the lack of in-country funding to help keep nature safe.
Returning to New York, John began investigating how he could help make a difference. It would eventually lead to him leaving the advertising industry to start Wild Tomorrow with his wife, Wendy.
To date, Wild Tomorrow has protected over 4,000 acres for wildlife in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. They also support local communities, employ over 30 people, and help fund rhino, elephant and pangolin conservation programs.
John’s interest in drawing and painting was awakened after realizing he could use his artistic skills in his spare time to raise money for Wild Tomorrow.
John and Wendy share their Hells Kitchen, NYC apartment with their cats, Penny and Wilbur.
